What we collect

When you submit a meal, we collect your first name, the city you submitted from, a description of the meal and who it was made for, and a photo. You may optionally provide your email address and your Instagram, Facebook, or Pinterest handle. These fields are not required to submit.

How we use it

Your submission is displayed publicly on the FeedingThem gallery and world map, and shared to our Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest accounts. If you provide a social media handle, we may tag or mention it in the post we share. Your email address is never displayed publicly or shared with third parties — we use it only if we need to reach you about your submission. By submitting, you consent to this public display.

Photos

Photos you upload are stored securely and displayed publicly on this site and our social media accounts. We do not sell or license your photos to third parties.

Cookies

This site uses minimal cookies necessary for the site to function. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate this site: Supabase (database), Mapbox (maps), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), Meta (Instagram and Facebook posting), and Pinterest. Each of these services has their own privacy policy.

Data retention

Approved submissions are stored indefinitely as part of the public archive. If you would like your submission removed, contact us at hello@feedingthem.com.
